Usually in the Linux experiment, the Linux system will be shut down the firewall, to avoid being affected when doing experiments.


  1. After the system installation is complete, turn off the iptables firewall with SELinux and check the status of the firewall first:

Service Iptables Status

To view the SELinux status command:

/usr/sbin/sestatus-v


command to temporarily shut down the firewall: service iptables stop

command to permanently shut down the firewall: chkconfig iptables off{requires a reboot to take effect}

permanently close selinux:

Vim/etc/selinux/config after the entry to modify the "selinux=enforcing" this item, instead: selinux=disabled Save exit can

Enforcing= Open

Disabled= off
