1. the VM allocates 10 Gb space to linux.
2. log on to linux and run the fdisk-l command to view the newly allocated hard disk sdb, but there is no additional information (the system originally had 30 GB space as sda)
3 fdisk/dev/sdb m n # Add a primary partition 1. All parameters are default values. ....
4. format the partition mkfs. ext3/dev/sdb1.
5 add a/dev/sdb1/mnt/sdb1 ext3 defaults 0 0 to the end of the permanently mounted gedit/etc/fstab.
6 reboot
7 df-l: The sdb1 has been mounted to/mnt/sdb1 and the usage is 1% www.2cto.com.
1/dev/sdb1/mnt/sdb1 ext3 defaults 0 0 ults is written as default. After restart, the system detects that the card Master finally prepares shell login and deletes the row. The/etc/fstab file is readonly, it is useless to grant it 777 permissions. Run the mount-o remount command. rw/solves the readonly problem. After vi re-edits the content of the row, it will be OK after it is restarted.
2. Prepare to mount it to/. After the restart, check df-l. The space does not increase (I don't know why, it seems that other people do not have this problem ), you have to create an empty folder as the mount point
