extended partition two kinds. The sum of the number of basic and extended partitions cannot be greater than four. And the basic partition can be used immediately and cannot be partitioned again. The extended partition must be partitioned before it can be used, meaning it must also be partitioned two times. Then the logical partition is divided, and there is no limit on the number of logical partitions. The primary partition is peer to the extended partition, and the extended partition itself cannot be used to store the data, and it must be divided into logical partitions to use it. No matter what operating system, you can directly use only the primary partition, logical partition.
