1. Start Linux

 

2. on the boot page (as shown in), Press

4. After Entering the page for Example

 

Select module/vmlinz-2.6.18-194.e15xen Ro root =/dev/volgroup00/logvo100 and press "E" again to go To the Edit page

Note: there may be some minor differences between different systems. Please be sure of them by yourself.

 

5. In the last line of the editing page, enter "Space single" and press enter to return to the selection page. Note that there must be spaces.

 

6. Maintain the status of the module/vmlinz-2.6.18-194.e15xen Ro root =/dev/volgroup00/logvo100 option selected, and then press B to boot the system into single-user mode.

 

4. After Entering single-user mode, enter passwd Root

 

5. You are prompted to enter a new user password, for example, 123456.

Prompt again to enter a new password for confirmation, such as: 123456

Finally, in single mode, enter reboot to restart the Linux system.

 

8. After restart, enter the new password: 123456. The logon is successful.
