Here's how to view the HBA card WWN number:
[Email protected] ~]# Cat/sys/class/fc_host/host*/port_name
0x10000090fa4849fe
0x10000090fa4849ff
You can also see the WWN number under Linux.
Once the WWN number is changed, the system cannot directly update the mounted back-end storage disk. To re-scan the disk, you can use the following methods to perform the sweep operation:
# cd/sys/class/scsi_host/host4/
# echo '---' > Scan
Or
echo "1" >/sys/class/fc_host/host/issue_lip//Some storage or system does not have scan file, can pass Issue_lip file recognition
Note:
You can run fdisk-l before scanning and compare the results of fdisk-l after scanning. If the change succeeds, the latter will see more results than the former. So before this kind of operation, it is best to make a backup of DF, Fdisk, Mount, fstab, etc. and disk-related information, after the scan is completed, and the original data to make a comparison is the most insured.
It doesn't matter if you can't remember the scanning instructions above, you can achieve the same result by restarting the host.
Before and after scanning, you can confirm storage mount information by viewing/PROC/SCSI/SCSI
[Email protected] ~]# CAT/PROC/SCSI/SCSI
