issue background : Today in Linux, a common user openam_jxedu configuration system, because the file mistakenly deleted, I would like to delete the system installation files, decompression installation, but in view of the system generated by the configuration file may affect some later functions, Therefore, you want to delete the normal user--openam_jxedu, and then recreate the user, and then reinstall the system again.

Problem description : I deleted the user with the Userdel-r openam_jxedu instruction under root, but found the following error.

I am sure that the connection to the openam_jxedu user has been turned off locally. Because may be other hosts in the connection openam_jxedu, so, I under the root user, use the W instruction, look at the current Linux system user connection, screenshot below.

As you can see, the current Linux server is only one user (I am using root at this time). At this time, very depressing, obviously the current Linux server only I a root user, why I delete openam_jxedu users, but will report the user openam_jxedu is currently logged in.

Workaround : I am under the root user, enter the instruction Ps-ef |grep openam_jxedu, this time the instruction window displays as follows:

According to the screenshot above, we can find that there are two processes running in the user openam_jxedu, we use instructions kill-9 88613 and kill-9 88939 respectively to force the two processes to close and then run the instructions to delete the user Userdel-r OPENAM_ Jxedu. At this point, you will find that the user openam_jxedu finally be shutdown.
