Linux series-Install RAR and Unrar automatically using Yum

Purpose: To enable CentOS to install RAR and Unrar automatically with Yum

System Environment: CentOS 7.0

The following are the steps:

1. Edit the file

Edit the Dag.repo file, or create a new Dag.repo file.

vi /etc/yum.repos.d/dag.repo

2. Add code to the file

The file in my here is an empty file, add the next content, and then :wq Save!

[dag]name=DagRPMRepositoryforRedHatEnterpriseLinuxbaseurl=http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el$releasever/en/$basearch/daggpgcheck=1enabled=1gpgkey=http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/RPM-GPG-KEY.dag.txt

3. Installation

Execute the following code to automatically install RAR and Unrar:

install rar unrar

OK, you are done!
