optimized boot auto-load service
Each time the Linux system is powered on, it goes to the default RunLevel and runs the various system services that are set to start in that level by default. To prevent some system services from running automatically, you can use the NTSYSV or Chkconfig tool for optimization.
NTSYSV Tools
[*] means start [] to close if you want to know the description of the selected service, press F1 to get help.

Chkconfig Tools
Chkconfig is similar to NTSYSV, but does not provide an interactive interface for querying or setting the default boot state of system services. Using the Chkconfig tool is more efficient when you need to set the default startup state of a service at different run levels.
Use the command chkconfig--list to view the default boot state of system services at different levels

The on and off switch values allow you to set the default startup state of the service, which they say starts and shuts down respectively. Combined with the--level option, you can specify the corresponding runlevel. The format is as follows
Chkconfig--level Run Level list service name On|off
