Linux shutdown and restart command summary

Shutdown command: Shutdown-h now (shutdown immediately)

Halt (shutdown immediately)

Poweroff (shutdown immediately)

Reboot command: shutdown-r Now (restart your computer)

Reboot (restart your computer now)

Difference: shutdown-h now and shutdown-r now must be root or users with root privileges, and halt and reboot are available to any user in the Linux system and do not require root permissions.

Contact: Halt and Poweroff have the same function.
