Clonezilla is a partition and disk cloning program for Linux,free-net-openbsd,mac OS X,windows and Minix. It supports all major file systems, including EXT,NTFS,FAT,XFS,JFS and BTRFS,LVM2, as well as VMware's Enterprise Cluster file system VMFS3 and VMFS5. The Clonezilla supports both 32-bit and 64-bit systems, supports both legacy BIOS and UEFI BIOS, and supports both MBR and GPT partition tables. It's a great tool for full backup of Windows systems and all the apps installed on it, and I like to use it to back up the Linux test system so that I can recover them quickly after doing crazy experiments on them.
Clonezilla can also use the DD command to back up unsupported file systems, which can copy blocks rather than files, thus eliminating the need to care about the file system. Simply put, Clonezilla can copy anything. (A quick description of the BLOCK: The disk sector is the smallest addressable storage unit on disk, and the block is a logical data structure consisting of a single or multiple sectors.) )
is actually a Linux version of Ghost, even more powerful than ghost, support PXE for batch restore, and kill Linux, mac, windows system file format.
As the official update of the operation of the inside, but based on the Chinese interface, a look can be used, the operation of the way can go in after the slowly groping it. Some official and practical documents are listed below.
Making a USB flash drive is also very convenient, just need to copy the file to the USB stick.

For the difference between i386 and AMD64:
Please try the I386 version first (slowest, but for almost modern x86 CPUs). However, if you need uefi Secure boot , use the AMD64 version of the alternative (Ubuntu-based Clonezilla Live).
Some instructions on how to make a USB stick boot:
1, the general official said just unzip the zip file, and then copy to the USB flash drive to start.
2, if the first attempt to be unable to use, you can try to write the ISO file to the USB flash drive, I guess it may be some old motherboard do not know the USB flash drive Uefi mode boot, production reference: http://www.cnblogs.com/EasonJim/p/7616673.html
