The first step: Use the CD-ROM boot to enter the system installation interface:

The above three options are: Install CentOS, check installation media and install CentOS, problem solving. Here, we install directly because we believe that the installation media is not a problem. In practical applications, it is recommended to check the integrity of the media.

The second step: Select the first item and enter the selection language as well as the keyboard layout interface:

Here we select "中文版" and select "American Keyboard". And then "Continue."

The third step: The next entry is the configuration interface, where you can configure the time, date, language, installation source, installation type, installation target, and network and host name configuration.

Fourth Step: Time Configuration

Select Shanghai or Chongqing and click "Done" in the top left corner. In fact, do not configure the same, you can change later.

Fifth Step: Language configuration

In order to avoid garbled, and here in addition to the need to choose English, the Best Chinese language package is also selected. Then click "Done" in the top left corner

Sixth Step: Installation Type

Here you can choose what kind of system to install, such as minimum installation, file and print server, basic Web server, virtualization host, GUI-based server, desktop installation, etc., general personal use "GNOME Desktop", the server uses "Minimal Install". In fact, this is also irrelevant, because the back to install what software, can also be installed. Select "Minimal Install" here, then click "Done" in the top left corner.

Seventh Step: Installation Location

Because I only have this piece of hard disk, and it also found, there is no need to add additional drivers. How to add a driver installation, again later. Because we are professionals, we deal with partitioning ourselves. Partitioning select "I'll Configure Partitioning".

At the bottom "full disk summary and bootloader ..." You can choose which disk the boot loader will be installed on.

Because we only have one hard drive, it is already selected by default. If so, you can choose which disk to install on for booting.

After selecting the hard drive, click "Done" in the top left corner.

Eighth step: Disk partition, if "I will configure partitioning" is selected, and after clicking "Done", the partition interface will automatically jump out.

Here you select the basic partition type, other types, followed by contact. Click the "+" sign in the lower left corner to create a new partition.

First add the mount point/boot, and divide 200M to it. This makes it possible to configure the interface in detail. You can configure the mount point, label, capacity, device type, encryption, file system, and so on, respectively. The file system was previously EXT4 by default and the XFS file system was adopted by default from Rhel 7. The file system will be mentioned later. Here you can choose Ext4, or XFS, or whatever. Continue to add a new partition

Swap partition, generally to the computer memory 1-2 times, here to 2G.

Finally add the root partition and give it all the rest of the space.

What is the use of different partitions, as described later. In addition to these, new mount points can be created, but at least one "/" root partition is required. Click "Done" in the top left corner and accept the change.

Nineth Step: Start the installation

Tenth step: Set the root password, the recommended use strong password.

11th Step: Restart
