1. Use the top command to see if the server currently has a zombie process.

2. Use PS and grep commands to find zombie processes

$ ps-a-ostat, PID, ppid, cmd | Grep-e ' ^[zz] '

Command explanation:

-A: List all processes

-O: Custom output fields, this command sets the display field to stat (status), PID (Process id), PPID (parent process id), cmd (command)

The process of Z or Z is a zombie process, so use grep to grab the stat state for the ZZ process

3. Kill command kills Zombie process

$ kill 2148

If the kill 2148 child process is not valid, you can try to kill the parent process to resolve the problem.
