Recover password using Linux system rescue mode
Method One:
- When the power on the hand to press any key, because the default time of 5s
- Grub menu, only one kernel, nothing good to select, press the E key. When the system is upgraded or Xen virtualization is installed, there are multiple displays.
- Next, select the second item, press the E key

Method Two:
- Set the system CD or USB flash drive to the first boot entry in the BIOS

- Select the keyboard type and leave the default US

- System mounted under/mnt/sysimage if you want to run the Chroot/mnt/sysimage command in the root environment
- Three options: Shell enters command line mode; FAKD is diagnostic mode; reboot restart the computer; we choose the shell here.
9. Change your password
Chroot/mnt/sysimage executes the original system file, you can use passwd to change the password, or VI to open the passwd file to modify the password flag bit
