I joined the LINUX Group this summer. I have stayed for one semester, and I feel a lot of gains!

At first, I was curious about LINUX. Before that, my companions mentioned LINUX many times and sometimes talked about it with great enthusiasm. I don't know what it is, after a long time, I couldn't insert a sentence. I was very depressed and curious about it! Later, I joined the group by chance. Now, I am lucky to think about it!

At first, I learned how to install this LINUX-based operating system. This is the first time I installed the system, so I feel very fulfilled after installing it. In the process of using it, I found many advantages, such as no virus, open source code, and almost free. I like it because it does not have a virus. When I used to use Windows, there were always problems with the system. One time, I seem to have stabbed the virus nest. The small hard disk was packed with more than 70 viruses, and the system crashed directly! Now, I am happy with the virus!

Later, I joined the shell Backup Tool project. I thought it was an important programming tool for LINUX and learned some common commands and technologies. However, I found myself not interested in it. I like software and I like to write programs in JAVA. Just as I was disappointed, Han proposed to set up a JAVA group to write mobile apps. I was so happy at the time that I finally found like-minded people.

Our first project was to write a computer game for the hamster (later changed to a mobile phone game), in order to read the JAVA textbook first. My task is to make some components of the graphic interface, and soon after I finish, I made a Mouse class. But I still don't know much about it. I still need to study hard.

In the group, I know how to help and communicate with each other, and the importance of self-learning. I believe this will be very useful for my future study and life. I am very grateful to the LINUX team for providing me with such an environment, and I will work harder. I have learned some HTML knowledge, and my goal is to learn JSP and web design!
