The installation of Oracle is really scary, especially with a heap of dependencies. While the DBA is in Nanjing, it is a practical operation.
Two ways, 1, new Installation, 2, hard copy
New Installation, refer to the following introduction
Http://www.cnblogs.com/zhangyongli2011/archive/2012/04/04/2431953.html
Problems encountered during installation
1. Insufficient space
Ins-32021:insufficient disk space on this volume for the selected Oracle home.
Cause:the selected Oracle Home is on a volume without enough disk space.
Action:choose a location for Oracle home that have enough space (minimum of STRINGMB) or free up space on the existing vol Ume.
Workaround: The virtual machine leaves only 20G controls. I deleted the compressed files from Oracle
2. Dependent Packages
Part of the use of Yum, part of the use of a oracle11grpm for Linux X86-64.rar from the CSDN, but the use is not imagined large, not particularly full.
Check after a few packages can not be found, in fact, there is a corresponding RPM file installation package, do not know why not found. Only ignore.
3. Execute 2 shell scripts after installation of root privileges
Su–root
Cd/home/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1
SH root.sh
Cd/home/oracle/orainventory
SH orainstroot.sh
Direct enter to confirm that the Orainventory directory is inconsistent with the directory provided by the original author
? I do not know whether the following step is required, but I do not know what the role
Open a terminal and log in as root
#cd/tmp/cvu_11.2.0.1.0_oracle
#./runfixup.sh
4, the installation is complete start, cannot find the DBCA command
First NETCA in DBCA (to operate in the graphical interface)
/home/oracle/bin
./NETCA &
./DBCA &
5, DBCA after setting the database space, again prompt control is insufficient, in fact, only set the 400M
You can only delete the extracted files from Oracle.
