Article title: LinuxWorld: open-source computer running Linux. Linux is a technology channel of the IT lab in China. Includes basic categories such as desktop applications, Linux system management, kernel research, embedded systems, and open source.
The embedded system designer Paul Thomas presented his design of the open-source computer, Linuxstamp, at the San Francisco LinuxWorld conference.
The hardware design of Linuxstamp is very simple. it only uses six chips: CPU, RAM, flash memory, serial port-USB converter, Ethernet card and power converter. It uses an Atmel AT91RM9200 processor, with 32 mb sdram and 8 M flash memory, as well as an SD card reader. the CPU itself provides a USB interface and an Ethernet card. The system can run Linux in two ways. the minimum configuration version can run in 8 m flash memory and 32 m memory. a more complete version is based on Debian and can run on an external SD card. Anyone interested in Linuxstamp can buy it online for $120, or download the design materials and collect them for fun.
