To give you llustrator software users to detailed analysis of the painting flat style cartoon police nurse stewardess portrait of the tutorial.
This course is a sequel to the previous course, perfecting the second third and fourth on the basis of the first avatar.
Second, create a surgeon's head
We're going to use the last-mentioned worker portrait as the basis for depicting a black-skinned surgeon. So let's copy one, right click, and release the clipping mask.
Then remove the helmet, beard, Orange Workman's uniform and turn the background color and projection into yellow. Continue to recolor some elements, such as changing the color of the dress to turquoise, and the skin color into deeper chocolate, and the same hair and eyebrows are dark brown.
Let's add a medical hat to our surgeon. Draws the px*24 px rectangle with the rectangular tool (M). Use the arrow tool on your keyboard to move the anchor point closer to the top edge of the hat, making it a bit more rounded with a real-time corner tool.
Let's create a surgeon's mask. Draw a 33*22 px rectangle, and then add a set of darker horizontal stripes on top of the mask, making it more detail. Place a narrow bar at the top of the mask and place it at the end (shift+control+[)
Now let's put the mask on the surgeon's face and hide the unwanted parts.
Copy the basic shape of the human face and move it to the front (shift+control+]). (You may not be able to simply drag and drop a face in a face group if you have already edited the faces into groups)
Select a new copy of the face and mask, right click, and create a clipping mask.
By adding some details to its uniform, we're going to finish this surgeon's head. Make a triangle with the polygon tool and rotate it. Flip the shape upside down. Fill in a light gray, select the ruby green overalls and the white triangle, use the image Generation tool (SHIFT+M), press ALT and remove the outside part of the body to form a V-shaped neck strap.
Adjusts the translucent shape and blending mode to deepen the right-hand part of the character. Finally, make a circle with the clipping mask (same as the previous tutorial, no one can see the previous tutorial)
Third, we will make a stewardess cartoon head
Now it's time to make a cartoon portrait of a stewardess. We started with the first avatar. Copy a worker avatar, like the second tutorial when making a nurse, release the clipping mask and remove unwanted graphics. Give a rounded background a new gentleman-like elegance to the red.
The face is a bit too square for our new character. So let's make a 40*55 px rectangle and then use the real-time corner function to make the corners full circle.
Let's make the nose slender. Select the two anchor points above the nose to remove the two anchor points by removing the selected Anchor point tool from the property bar. This will make the top half of the nose look more delicate.
Now let's make it on the lips. Go to Object > path > Add anchor points. Use the Direct drag tool (A) to select the new anchor point in the middle of the lip, drag it down, and use the real-time corner function to make the lip smoother and more rounded.
Cut the upper and lower parts of the lip by cutting the anchor points on both sides of the scissors tool (C).
By increasing the purity of the pink lip, let the lips become bright and red.
At the same time let's change the shape of the lip to a bit. Edit the top and bottom halves of the lip into groups (CONTROL+G), then use the effect > deformation > Arch. Set the horizontal value to-30%. Click OK. To adapt to change, use objects > expand appearance to make lips smile better. You can also make the upper lip a little deeper and separate from the lips below. Makes it more like the lips of people in real life.
We make our girls more women, let's give our eyes and eyebrows a new coloring. Just like we made eyebrows before, we give our stewardess eyes a thin rounded lash.
Now let's make a neat haircut. Use the elliptical tool (L) to place two ellipses on the front forehead to make them overlap. Flatten two ellipses in the Pathfinder. Use shape building Tools (shift+m) to remove unwanted portions of the head to make the hair smooth and tidy.
In order to make our character more exquisite, we made her neck a little bit more rounded. We can still adjust the face to make him thinner. Or add a rounded blush to the cheek.
Now let's make our stewardess uniforms. We added some obvious details to the original blue uniform to perfect it. Let's turn this T-shirt into a stylish jacket.
Draws a 33*45 px stripe rectangle using the Rectangle tool (M). Rotate 45 degrees and make a notch on top of her. Overlap A small triangle above the main shape. Use the Shape Generation tool (Shift+m) and press ALT to remove the triangle.
Use the Mirror tool (O) to copy a mirror that creates a shape, forming a lapel. After placing on the shirt, remove unwanted parts through the eraser tool (shift+e) or the Shape Building tool (Shift+m).
Combine three triangles so that each corner has a slight rounded. Form a corner of a white shirt.
Now we make a little red tie as a sign that distinguishes it from the other airlines. From making a 8*7.5 px rectangle, use the arrow tool on the keyboard to move the anchor point closer to the bottom. Let the anchor point at the bottom become rounded, forming a tie knot.
Now using the Ellipse tool (L), make a flattened ellipse and rotate it by 45 degrees.
Select the anchor point at the bottom and click to convert the selected anchor point to a sharp angle in the property bar above to create a sharp corner shape. In the opposite place, rotate a copy of a shape so that the tie looks intact.
Let's make another element of stewardess uniforms: hats.
Make a 18*18px and jacket as dark blue square, rotate 45 degrees, then flatten it a little, let her have a bit of diamond shape, with real-time corner function to make the edges and corners a little mellow.
Make a rectangle with rounded corners on the left side of the first square, a darker blue color. Use the Mirror tool (O) horizontally to copy a hat that forms a folded shape.
Draw a golden airline logo. Start drawing a winged medal from the 4*4 px circle. Draw a set of rounded rectangles as feathers, then align the logo and the hat in the center.
Finally, put the dress on for our stewardess. Complete this button by adding a shadow and hiding some unwanted elements from the clipping mask.
Iv. creating the head of a police officer
We will modify the head of the stewardess to change the hue of the skin into a chocolate color. The color of the hair turns dark brown. Again, we change the background color of the icon to bright green.
Let's flip the hair horizontally so that it can be different from the previous picture. Let's make a haircut. Draw a 45*53 px dark brown rectangle placed at the back of the head. Select the two anchor points above to turn the top to round.
Let's sketch the bottom of the individual hair and make some small triangles placed on top of the bottom hair to make these shapes overlap. Use the Graphics Builder (M) to press ALT to remove the extra triangles.
With two narrow rectangles, a simple V-collar is formed.
Let's create the officer's hat and use the Polygon tool to create a 45*45px seven-side shape. Flatten this shape, modify the two anchor points at the bottom, and make the corner a little rounded.
Let's make the high light on the brim. Make two narrow strips, rotate 45 degrees, and place them above the brim. Use the Shape Generation tool (Shift+m) to remove unwanted portions of the rim around the brim.
Let's make the most important element of each officer: the badge. Make a 10*13px, light yellow rectangle. Use object > Path > Add Anchor Point Tool. Select the two anchor points at the bottom and move up. Make this shape look like a shield.
Use the real-time corner function to make the edges of this shape smoother. We can also make the image have a slight bend above, using the Bending tool (shift-').
Put a star on this and complete this shield.
In addition to some of the grey tie and some other details, dress up our friendly police officer. You can even continue to create some extra accessories, such as: make bright fashion glasses from two blue ellipses.
