Some time ago completed the LNMP one-click installation package PHP automatic upgrade script, released today, if you want to upgrade PHP version of LNMP users can try it. Supports all versions of the current LNMP.

Only a low version upgrade to a higher version cannot be degraded. Can be upgraded to the existing PHP 5.2.14 to PHP 5.3.5 in addition to 5.3.0, 5.3.1, 5.3.2 a few transitional versions of the PHP version, if PHP released a new version, only if the installation mode is not changed can be used all the time. Note: After upgrading PHP eaccelerator, Ioncube need to reinstall (you cannot use the script installed in lnmp0.6!!) ）。

How to use the upgrade script:

Execution:wget http://soft.vpser.net/lnmp/upgrade_php.sh;/bin/bash upgrade_php.sh

Note: The version number must be entered correctly or the upgrade will fail!

The upgrade will be managed using/ETC/INIT.D/PHP-FPM {start|stop|quit|restart|reload|logrotate}.

PHP-FPM configuration file path is:/usr/local/php/etc/php-fpm.conf

The PHP configuration file path is:/usr/local/php/etc/php.ini

If the profile that you upgrade to PHP5.3.*,PHP-FPM will be different from php5.2.*, PHP-FPM can automatically adjust the number of PHP-FPM processes by the amount of traffic you can adjust Pm.max_ The children value to increase or decrease the maximum number of processes for PHP-FPM.

Note: There may be some compatibility issues with some PHP programs after upgrading to php5.3.*. Upgrade is risky, the upgrade should be cautious, although the script will automatically back up the configuration files, it is recommended to upgrade before upgrading the best to back up.

5.4.* version is a beta version is not tested, production environment do not upgrade to 5.4.*.
