SiteScope is an easy-to-use monitoring tool from HP that can be used to monitor databases, system resources, etc.

First, download the portal

• SiteScope 11.3 for Windows 64bit
  It is difficult to search the online SiteScope installation package, so I went to the official website to download a latest version, uploaded to the Baidu cloud
• MySQL Driver
  Because you want to monitor MySQL, download the MySQL driver before you use it

Second, installation method installation SiteScope:

• Unzip the SiteScope installation package
• Locate the Hpsitescope_11.30_setup file, double-click Start installation
• Then click Next until you finish, and note that if you want to see the monitoring information in the LoadRunner interface, select SiteScope for load testing when selecting the SiteScope installation type

Open your browser:

• After the installation is complete, enter the URL http://localhost:8080/SiteScope in the browser to open

  Personal use of the Firefox browser, after opening the URL will remind you to install a plugin to display the interface, click Install to automatically start installing the JDK, install the JDK to correctly display the SiteScope page
  注意：其余浏览器不知是否会弹出安装插件的提示，如若打开页面为空，则可自行上网下载JDK，并且配置好环境变量

Copy MySQL driver:

• Place the MySQL driver copy under Java/lib/ext in the SiteScope installation directory and restart the sitescope service

  How do I restart the SiteScope service?
  Click Start, search services.msc to open the service, find HP SiteScope, click Restart Service

Third, configure MySQL monitoring

• First step: Browser opens Localhost:8080/sitescope into SiteScope main interface

• Step Two: Create a new group
  Select SiteScope, right click, click New, click Group, enter the name of the group click Save

• Step three: Create a new monitor
  Select the newly created group, click the right mouse button, click New, click on the monitor to go to the Select Monitor page

In the Monitor category, click the Database counter to enter the Counter configuration page.

In the Database Configuration page fill out the contents of the Red box, click Get Technology

Connecting to a database

Attention:
1) Database connection fills in the database IP, the port default is 3306, may not fill in;
2) Compare new database driver (after version 5) fill in: Com.mysql.jdbc.Driver, the old only fill in Org.git.mm.mysql.Driver

• Fourth step: After selecting the Counter, click Verify and save to configure the success

LoadRunner Configuration method

• Open the LoadRunner and add SiteScope to the controller's run page to monitor the MySQL database information in the run
