LoadRunner, qtp, testdirector/Quality Center, rational robot study notes

LoadRunner 8.1, qtp 9.2/qc9.0, testdirector 8.0, and rational robot 7.0 are installed in Windows XP.

LoadRunner 8.1

But the bad thing is, there is not qtp 10 plugin for testdirector 8, so you have no way use qtp10 to connect to our testdirector. But you still can do that using qtp9.5 or qtp9.2

Qc9 cannot be directly installed in Windows 7, so you can set the compatibility. During installation, you only need to import the license file without entering the maintenance serial number. Access is not supported. An Application Server (such as JBoss) is required. If you select IIS as the Web server to report an error, select JBoss built-in web server. During installation, the prompt "the user name for running the installer must be the same as the user name for running JBoss as the service" is displayed because SQL Server (Windows verification) is selected and SQL verification is selected. The SQL Server 2010 express attached to Visual Studio 2008 does not allow access by SA by default.
The Server Browser Service is not started. Check the SQL server network configuration-sqlexpress protocol. Enter "computer name \ sqlexpress" on the server ".

Oracle is successfully installed as the database.

Qc9 comes with JBoss. Modify the JBoss/Server/default/secret in the installation directory, search for the "Var fmsie3456" string, and add "| (UA. lastindexof (& quot; MSIE 8.0 & quot ")! =-1 )",. Run JBoss/bin/run. bat in the installation directory to start the JBoss server.
