Overview
Create a manual scenario by selecting the script to run, assigning a load generator to run the script, and assigning the vuser in the script
The manual scene is to set the change of the virtual user, the homepage is to simulate the real user request model and complete the load generation by designing the user's adding and reducing process.
L Manual Scene mode:
vuser Group mode. In this mode, each script is assigned a virtual user group, and each virtual user group is assigned a vuser number. By default, all VUser in the same group run the same script on the same load generator, as shown in the following figure
You can assign different scripts, load generators to different users in the same group, as shown in the following figure
Typically, each group contains only one script, which represents a typical action that the VUser user of that group executes the script
Percentage mode. In this mode, set the total number of vuser for the scene and specify the percentage value of VUser for each script and specify the load generator

Percentage mode. In this mode, set the total number of vuser for the scene and specify the percentage value of VUser for each script and specify the load generator
Like group, in general, each script contains only a single scripting that represents a typical operation,
Question: How to modify the number of quantity users for each group in VUser Group mode mode.
1. Switch the scene to Percentagemode,
2. Click the cell in the column (% column) of the corresponding script to modify the ratio
3. Switch the scene again to VUser Group Mode
Attention:
1. Two scripts are loaded in the same way, just according to the proportion of users to distribute the trend of increased load, here set up every 15 seconds to add 10 users, that is 15 seconds to add 7 belong to Basic_script users, 3 belong to basic_script_1 users
2. It is not possible to modify the total number of users, only to modify the number of users assigned to each group, if you want to modify the total number of VUser, double-click the Start vusers action, modify the start all VUser value, see below
2 Scene mode toggle
VUser Group Mode to percentage mode: as follows
Scenario->convert Scenairio to the Vusergroup Mode
VUser Group Mode to percentage mode: as follows
Scenario->convert Scenairio to the Percentagemode
3 Scenario Planning settings (Scenarioschedule)
Set load behavior in "Scenario Schedule"
4 Service Level agreement (SLA) when designing a load test scenario, you can define target values or service level agreements (SLAs) for performance metrics. When you run a scenario, LoadRunner collects and stores performance-related data. When analyzing the operational situation, analysis compares the data to the SLA and provides a predefined
Measurement metrics to determine SLA status.
? manual Scene Design steps
a) Open or create a scene
1. Click on the New Scenario button on the main control bar
2. In the Newscenario dialog box, select Manual Scenario.
3. (optional) If you want to distribute VUser by percentage, choose Use the Percentage mode ... Options.
4. (optional) Select the script to join the scene. If you do not select a script in this step, you can also add it in the scene.
After clicking OK, open the Scene Design tab.
b) Add load generator
Click the load Generator button (or scenario->loadgenerators), click Add in the Open Load Generators dialog box and enter the details of the load generator you want to add
Click Add
Note: The name here can be either IP or computer name, localhost (native)
Click More to make more settings
After adding
Click Connect
If the temporary directory directory is empty, the LoadRunner store temporary files in the load generation
Temporary directory specified by the load generator variable temp, tmp variable.
a) Add VUser Group, VUser user, or script
vuser Group Mode: In the scene group panel, create a virtual user group Vusergroup to join the scene. Create a scene virtual user group:
1. Click the AddGroup button
2. In the Add Group dialog box:
A fill in the group name and specify the number of VUser for that group.
b Select a load generator that runs vusers
C Select a virtual user script.
Percentage Mode: In the scene script panel, add groups to the scene as follows: Click the Add Group button and select a VUser script from the list
1. In the Loadgenerator column in the Scene script panel, select the load generator to run the script.
Note: By default, the new script will run on all load generators in the scene.
2. When selecting all scripts for the scene, specify a percentage of the total number of virtual users in the% column of the scene script panel for each script. Set the percentage from the start of the first script, then the next script, and so on.
Add a virtual user
Add users to a single vuser group, script
1. Switch to VUser Group Mode first
2. Design tab >scenario Groups Panel > select VUser Group to add a virtual user >vusers > Add vusers
3.Add VUser (s)
Attention:
1. The above settings will change the original total number of virtual users 2. If you only set the total number of virtual users, you can define it in the scenario plan (scenario schedule).
as follows, modify the total value in start total vusers
a) Define a schedule for the scene
It can be set on the default schedule, or it can be created as follows
e) Define service level agreements (optional)
