③ Note: the installation package cannot be placed in a directory with Chinese characters. The LoadRunner cannot recognize Chinese characters during installation.

The uninstall procedure is as follows:

1. Ensure that all processes related to LoadRunner (including controller, vugen, analysis, and Agent process) are disabled.

2. Back up the test scripts under the LoadRunner installation directory. These scripts are generally stored in the "SCR javaspts" subdirectory under the LoadRunner installation directory.

3. Run the LoadRunner uninstall program in "Delete and add programs" on the operating system control panel. If any information about shared files is displayed, delete all files.

4. After the uninstallation wizard is complete, restart the computer as required. Complete the LoadRunner uninstall process.

5. Delete the entire LoadRunner directory. Include the LR shortcut in your Start Menu.

6. Search for the following files in the operation and delete them.

2) vugen .*

7. Run the Registry Program (START-run-Regedit)

8. Delete the following key values:

Delete simultaneously

Mercury. lm70controlmgr. 1

Then use the search function to search for "Mercury" and delete all the items with the lm70contro character.

② If you have installed only the MI company LoadRunner product, delete it:

9. Finally, clear the recycle bin.

If you have completed the preceding operations, you can reinstall LoadRunner normally. It is best to disable all anti-virus programs when installing LoadRunner. In the past, when LoadRunner was installed, it was unpredictable to run the antivirus program at the same time.

Then, reinstall LoadRunner 8.1. After installation, you do not need to install pack4to provide a correct version of ie. first, use the licenseremoval tool (deletelicense.exe) to completely remove the license.
