Performs a logical "or" on two expressions.

result = expression1 || expression2

Parameters

Any expression.

Description

Result is trueif one or two of the two expressions are equal to true. The following table illustrates how result is determined:

If expression1 is and Expression2 is then result is
True True True
True False True
False True True
False False False

JScript uses the following rules to convert a non-Boolean value to a Boolean value:

    • All objects are considered true.
    • The string is considered false if and only if it is empty.
    • null and undefined are considered false.
    • The number is false if and only if it is 0 o'clock.
