Personal configuration:
~/.bash_profile,~/.bashrc

Profiles class configuration file:
Setting environment variables, running commands or scripts

BASHRC class configuration file:
Set local variables, define command aliases

How the login shell reads the configuration file:
/etc/profile,/etc/profile.d/*.sh,~/.bash_profile,~/.bashrc,/etc/bashrc
How the non-logon shell reads the configuration file:
~/.bashrc,/etc/bashrc,/etc/profile.d/*.sh
