Lync server 2013 series 7: Standard Edition-test internal Login

In the previous articles, we have explained in detail the entire deployment process of the lync server 2013 Standard Edition. After the deployment is complete, we need to initialize and configure the lync, enable the lync account for the user, and test whether the internal login is normal. The operating system used by this client is Windows 7. I have added this computer to the domain in advance.

1. initialize configuration 1.1 to add corresponding internal DNS records
  • Manually Add the following a record in the internal DNS manager as needed:

Meet.wangld.com

Dialin.wangld.com

Admin.wangld.com

  • Add SRV records. To enable automatic lync logon, you must add the following SRV records. Open DNS manager ---- right-click "other new records"

  • Find "service location (SRV)" and click Create record

  • Enter the Service (_ sipinternaltls), Protocol (_ TCP), Port Number (5061), host that provides the service (FQDN of the Standard Edition server), and click OK.

  • Verify the SRV record and open the command line tool, such:

1.2 view topology status
  • Open "lyncserver 2013 control panel" on the lync Standard Edition server, enter the account and password as prompted, and log on

  • Open the control panel and click "Topology" to ensure the frontend status is normal, as shown in

2. Enable the lync account
  • Open the lync server2013 control panel and click "Enable User" on the users tab"

  • Click "Search", select the user to be enabled in the ad user list, and click "OK.

  • After configuring, click "enable" (you can configure different policies for users as needed)

  • The command to enable lync accounts in batches through the command line is attached here, as shown below:

3. Test client Logon
  • Open the lync server 2013 client and enter the user name and password to log on. (the current domain account and password will be used by default after you log on to the domain computer .)
