Workaround:

1. Install the software on the imac.

2. If the imac does not start, install the tools in another system and connect your imac's hard drive via an external interface.

3. Execute the application.

4. Next, select "Restore volume/drive" from the main screen. Select "Volume Recovery" in the next window
