. Ds_store is primarily used to store "What type of directory is displayed" setting, for example, where to put on the screen when it is opened, to be displayed in small Icon/big icon/list way. If you don't care about that, you can take it out boldly.

Exchange files with others (or the pages you do need to be uploaded) should be put. Ds_store file deletion is more appropriate because it is passed. Ds_store can know the list of all the files in this directory

Delete the currently existing

Find/path/to-name ". Ds_store "-delete
