This article notes the steps to make an Apple system installation disk:

1. Prepare a blank USB flash drive or removable hard disk and go to the App Store to download the latest version of the system, now the latest is: MacOS Sierra, download will default to open the installation process, exit no matter, the downloaded image can be found in the/applications directory, as follows:

　　

2. Open the Command line tool terminal or use Iterm

3. Execute AS command:

　　

Wait to finish ...

5. You can see that the installation disk is ready:

　　

Later, you can use this disk for system installation or system recovery.

To select the boot drive after the Mac system starts, press and hold the "Option" key when the power-on key is pressed.
