First step: Install remote Desktop Connection on your Mac
- Go to Microsoft Remote Desktop connection to download the installation package.
- When the download is complete, double-click the installation package to install it.
Step Two: Set the remote settings on the Windows PC

Solution:
On the computer, on the policy RDP Security layer:
Verify that the firewall allows the use of RDP Remote Desktop Connection (port 3389)
Click Start > Run
Type gpedit.msc, click "OK"
Result: The Group Policy Editor opens
In the left column, expand Computer Configuration-> Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host
Select "Security"
"Require Remote Desktop (RDP) connection with a specific security layer enabled" and select "RDP in Options Panel".
Change to use Network Level authentication to require remote connection user authentication, disabled.
Close the Group Policy Editor and restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
