- How to judge slow? Is the response time five minutes or five seconds? You cannot discuss it with a perceptual knowledge.
- What is the PHP error report level? There is no PHP error in your error_log. Check several error-related configurations in php. ini.
- Using the command line to run the php script is very fast, but apache parsing through the page is very slow. This comparison is not scientific. Even if you use the same code for testing, the performance of the command line and apache mod methods is also different. If you use a small enough measurement unit, apache mod php will also be "slow ".
