MacBook common shortcut keys

The system Preferences > Hardware > Keyboard > Keyboard shortcuts species can view and set the current set of shortcut key combinations for all systems.

  The MacBook's keyboard layout does not have a separate Home/end/pageup/pagedown four key, replaced by the fn+ arrow key:

Fn + Left Home

Fn + Right En

Fn+up PageUp

Fn + Down PageDown

The MacBook's keyboard layout also has only Delete, and there is no separate del (Forward Delete):

Fn + DELETE Delete (Forward delete)

Command + DELETE delete file

SHIFT + COMMAND + DELETE Clear Sky Recycle Bin

  When editing text:

Command + DELETE Delete to beginning of line

OPTION + DELETE Deletes a previous word

fn + DELETE Deletes the character after the cursor

fn + OPTION + DELETE Deletes a word after the cursor

SHIFT + All content before the cursor is selected

SHIFT + down all contents after the cursor is selected

Shift + LEFT Select the cursor forward to the beginning of the content

Shift + RIGHT Select the cursor back to the end of the line

Command + UP cursor moved to document header

COMMAND + down cursor move to end of document

Command + Left cursor moves to the beginning of the line

Command + RIGHT cursor move to end of line

Option + Keyboard special characters

Command + tab/shift + COMMAND + TAB switch application (equivalent to four finger strokes on the touch disk)

The MacBook's f1~f12 are defined as various function keys, such as adjusting screen brightness, volume size, and so on. However, some people may have to change the "system settings" according to their past habits.

  Common system-level shortcut keys:

OPTION + COMMAND + ESC Force exit Program

OPTION + COMMAND + eject into hibernation

Shift + Command + q Log off the current user

Control + 1/2/3/4 or CONTROL + up/down/left/right toggle 1/2/3/4 Space

  Fit Input Method:

Control + +-Flip

Option + 1 Delete the first custom phrase

Shift in English switch

Command + Space Input Method switch
