What we bring to you today is the third chapter of the preview app. In writing these words, I deeply feel that the "preview" is really the OS X user ignored more utility programs. Because its name is "preview", as if it is just a file browser, but in fact, it can not only read, preview the file, but also to quickly organize the file.
Here's how to use Preview to reorder pages in a PDF document, and quickly copy a page to another PDF document.
Reorder pages in PDF documents
First step: Open the PDF document in the preview, in order to see all the document pages clearly, we select the "Thumbnail list" option in the upper left corner.
Second step: Click to select the page thumbnail you want to move, and then press and hold it to the new location to release the mouse (in this step, the author places the second page behind the third page).
Copy pages to other PDF documents (for stitching)
Step one: Open the two PDF documents you need to stitch in the preview. Select the thumbnail list item in the upper-left corner.
Second step: Select the page thumbnail you want to move from the original document (you can press and hold the CMD key for multiple selections).
Step three: Drag them to the appropriate position in the preview window of the target document and release the mouse.
Done! It's that simple.
▲ Note: You can use this technique to move a single page or multiple pages at once, and if you select all the pages and drag them to the front (back) side of the target document, the stitching is done.
What do you think? Annoying PDF stitching in the eyes of the "preview" app is a piece of cake, not to mention the OS X comes with it!
