Magic Linux released the last Beta version of 2.5, Beta 3, yesterday. Magic Linux 2.5 Beta 3 not only fixes bugs in the previous version, but also updates the system software and repository.

Magic Linux 2.5 Beta 3 fixes the following issues: Kpackage Chinese garbled characters, U disks cannot be mounted, and Konqueror access on KDE 3 has js website crashes, added LZMA support for Squashfs and Squashfs-tools in the kernel.

In terms of system software, Magic Linux 2.5 Beta 3 updates include Kernel 2.6.31, X.org server 1.6.3.901, KDE 4.3.1, Firefox 3.5.3, Amarok 2.1.80, and Fcitx 3.6.1.
