Make a big footprint icon with fireworks MX's warp tool

When we design the Web page, we often have to make some small icons to meet the actual needs. Fireworks MX Since as one of the Three Musketeers, in this respect naturally has its own unique place. Today we'll use the "big footprint" icon as an example to illustrate how to easily design a Web site icon using fireworks.

　　 Step 1:
Open Fireworks MX, using the menu command file-new, create a new file with a width and height of 300 pixels and a background color of white.

　　 Step 2:
Select the Draw Circle tool (Ellipse Tool) on the toolbar, and set the fill color to black on the properties panel with no border color. Draws an ellipse. The size of the ellipse is not needed at this time, as long as it is convenient for you to edit, we will change its size later, because fireworks draw the ellipse is vector graphics, we do not need to worry about the size of the impact of clarity.

　　 Step 3:
Select Freeform Tool on the toolbar and press and hold the mouse to appear with a drop-down menu. Select Reshape Area Tool, which allows you to directly edit the contour of a vector graphic without having to manually edit one node at a node by dragging the mouse.

We only need to drag the mouse over the vector element being edited, and Fireworks MX will automatically add and remove nodes and deform according to the set deformation values. Drag the slider with the size option on the properties panel below the work area to adjust the value to 130 (figure).

Drag the slider after the strength option, and adjust the value to 80. Using the mouse to drag on the ellipse of the glorious child, we can see that the ellipse has been deformed (pictured).

　　 Step 4:
Repeat the above to make the final drag deformation as shown in the figure. On the toolbar, you can select scale Tool, and hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard to scale and resize.

　　 Step 5:
Select Ellipse Tool on the toolbar, hold down the keyboard shift key to draw a positive circle, the fill color is black, this is the thumb in the footprint. Copy the positive circle and change the size and position until all 5 toes are drawn, and the final effect is shown in the figure.

　　 Step 6:
Press CTRL + A on the keyboard, select all components, use the menu command Modify-group to combine them, and then use CTRL + C and CTRL + V to copy them. Choose a copy of the footprint, and use the menu command Modify-transform-flip horizontal to flip it horizontally. The final adjustment position, as shown in the picture, completes the production of the big footprint:

Summary: The key to this example is the flexible use of a range of tools in freeform tool. The use of them can be very easy to achieve a number of unique effects of deformation, for our practical work has a great help.
