The production of a mobile phone modeling, the most often involved is the fuselage and mobile phone button production, the fuselage part mainly through the editing of the editable polygon to get, and in the process of making mobile phone key to introduce the function of the graphics merge. The main point of this example is to master the editing method of editable polygon and grasp the use method of graphic merging.
Design steps
The mobile phone modeling process will start with the creation of the phone shell, then complete the phone keypad, mobile phone screen and other parts of the production, the final effect figure shown in Figure 5-1.

Now let's learn how to use the polygon modeling method to make the phone shell model.
1. Set System units
Select the "File" | "reset" command to reset the system. Then select the Custom | unit Settings command, and the Unit Settings dialog box pops up, setting the system units, as shown in Figure 5-2.
2. Create a corner cuboid
Click the Create button, select expand Geometry in the Drop-down list in the Geometry panel, and then select to create all the rectangles in the top view, rename it to Shell, and modify its parameters, as shown in Figure 5-3.
3. Convert to editable Polygon
Click into the Modify command panel, click the right button under the "Modifier list" and convert the tangent geometry you just created into an "editable polygon", as shown in Figure 5--4.
4. Delete half nodes, apply symmetric modifier
Click on the "Select" button in the display bar to enter the vertex level, and then use the mouse in the Top view box select "Shell" right half of the vertex, press the keyboard "Del" key, delete half of the vertex, as shown in Figure 5-5. After the operation, click the button again to exit the child object level.
