Transparent a very simple tutorial, good things are not necessarily complicated.

The first step: Appearance
Create a new file (mine is 100*100pixles) and change the canvas into a middle color (I choose #009999). Change the canvas color in modify--canvas--Canvas color (click outside the canvas to modify directly on the property panel)
Select the Rectangle tool to draw a rectangle in the canvas, I draw the 80x20pixles. Modify the stroke color to white on the property panel (#fffffff)
Then the fill category of the solid into a rectangle, and then click the Fill color, modify the rectangle's fill color, the beginning and end are changed to White (#ffffff), and the respective opacity to 50%, please see the following example:

Now, your picture should look like the following:

Step two: Edge point
Select the arrow tool (A or 0), click the rectangle that you just drew in the first step, press CTRL+SHIFT+G, or choose "Modify"--"dissolve group", this step transforms the rectangle into a path, we can modify or add the vector node.
Next, enlarge the rectangle (I choose 200%), click the Pen tool, move your mouse to the left of the rectangle (the mouse pointer should become a pen with a plus), click on the path to add 5 different points, see the example below, the path to the right is the same.

Step three: Rip the Edge
Now, select the partial Selection tool (translator: White arrow), click on the rectangle you just added, drag a few pixels inward, and try to make it a torn edge, see my example below:

Fourth step: Shadow
This is a hard step (translate it), I want to add some shadow to the tape, but we can't add the effect directly to it, so the shadow will appear underneath the transparent fill.
The remedy is to copy your tape (CTRL + C, then CTRL + V), select the tape below, and modify the fill type to solid in the Properties panel.
Now click on the effect of the property panel on the plus sign, select "Shadow and Halo"--"projection", change the options and the following image, confirm the hook selected "Go Background", otherwise no effect.

When you're done, your picture should look like this:

finally:
Put all your object groups (crl+g), rotate a certain angle, and paste it into the corner of the photo to make it look like it's taped.
In my example I added more scratches, a pencil tool with a hair to make it look more realistic, and more use of this example technology, please go to Michael T. Ross ' s website, and here it is.

Note: A very simple tutorial, translation than I used to learn more time, please support. E is not good, please point out the wrong place to translate
