Shared access is actually an ongoing operation on a local area network, and do not assume that such an operation is trivial, because access to shared resources in different operating systems is not necessarily the same as the shared access cheats you need to use; This is not when we try to access Windows Server 2008 shared resources in the system, the discovery of shared access is significantly less rapid than before, we must use the following cheats to set up the Windows Server 2008 system, in order to make the system under the environment of shared access operations faster!

Set up shared access mode correctly

In a Windows Server 2008 system environment, a shared access operation consists of two working modes, one is Classic mode, the other is guest-only, and when you use guest-only mode to speed up shared access, we simply enable the Guest account in the Windows Server 2008 system. , when users access shared resources in the corresponding system, they do not need to be authenticated to access the target shared resource, but this shared access mode can only be used between trusted users. When using Classic mode, Windows Server 2008 systems need to force the authentication of shared access users, so that the shared access speed is definitely compromised, although the use of this mode of work is more secure.

Obviously, if we simply pursue shared access, you can set the shared access mode for the Windows Server 2008 system to Guest only mode, and restart the default Guest account that is deactivated. When you set the shared access mode to guest only mode, we can do this by following these steps:

First log on to the Windows Server 2008 system as a system administrator, click the start/Run command on the system desktop in turn, and in the pop-up system run text box, enter the string command "Gpedit.msc", and after clicking the OK button, Enter the Group Policy editing window for the corresponding server system;

Next, position the mouse over the Computer Configuration node option in the Group Policy editing window. then expand Windows Settings/Security Settings/Local Policy/Security options subkeys from the node option, and in the right display area for the Security Options subkey, double-click the "" Network access: Sharing and security mode for local accounts Group Policy Project, open the target Group Policy Properties Setting window as shown in Figure 1;

Figure 1

Default state, we found that the shared access mode of the Windows Server 2008 system has been set to "classic-authenticate Local users without changing their identity", and we can select "Guest only" from the Drop-down list in the Settings window to authenticate local users. Its identity as guest option, and then click OK to save the settings above, so that the shared access mode of the Windows Server 2008 system becomes guest only mode. When the shared access mode is in guest-only mode, any user on the local area network can access the target shared resource directly through the Network Neighborhood window without having to go through the authentication link to complete the access task of the shared resource.

Of course, in order to ensure both the security of shared access and the speed of access, we can create a user account in the Windows Server 2008 system that can access the target shared resource in advance of the Classic mode state. In the future, users in the local area network will first log on to the local client system with this specified user account (the client system also has the same user account). You can then quickly access the target shared resource in the server system through the Network Neighborhood window, and other users on the local area network cannot access the target shared resource.

Do not allow differential compression to affect shared speed

When we try to transfer shared resources over the LAN network, the newly added remote differential compression feature of the Windows Server 2008 system works to automate the calculation of differences between local and remote resources and to compress the shared resources based on the results of the calculation, which is clearly a time-consuming process. , which can greatly reduce the transfer speed of shared resources. To maximize the transfer speed of shared resources, we can uninstall the newly added remote differential compression feature of the Windows Server 2008 system, which is the specific uninstall step:

First enter the Windows Server 2008 System desktop with super privileges, click the Start/program/Administrative Tools/Server Manager command in the, and then open the Server Manager console window for the corresponding system;

Second, display the area on the left side of the Server Manager Console window. Position the mouse over the function branch option, and check the remote differential compression feature for the right side of the function branch option to see if it has been successfully installed, and then click the Remove Function button if you find that the feature is already enabled. Open the Windows Features List dialog shown in Figure 2, uncheck the Remote differential compression feature option, and click OK, so that when we later transfer shared resources over the LAN network, the Windows Server 2008 system "Remote Differential compression" function will not interfere with the fast transfer of shared resources.
