Final Effect
1, create a new document size for 1024x768px background color filled with black. Create a new layer splash brush in the center of the screen to do some splash effect (if you have not installed splash or ink brush can go to the site to download), the following steps we will speak directly to the middle of the text area.
2. Right-click on the layer to select the blending option to open the Layer Style dialog box. Add an outer glow style setting parameter as follows. Now we want to grid the layer because we want to edit the layer as a whole, there are two methods that are commonly used, one is to choose to convert to a smart object in the Layer Palette menu (located in the upper-right corner of the layers panel), but to create a new layer below the splash layer, select splash layer, and perform the downward merge (ctrl+e) layer command. The first type is recommended.
3, now need a picture similar to the wall, concrete, rock or sand. I think it's better to have a wind-blown concrete, and I'll find a piece here. Download the splash layer on top of Photoshop and press ALT to click between the layers to create a clip mask of concrete material. The effect is shown below.
4, now add some text, I want an informal font like the following figure. I use a handwriting font, if you do not have the right font to do, you can download the Dafont website offers free fonts. Enter a few large letters, you can add space, how comfortable how to do. Then open the window > characters. Adjust the relevant settings to make the image below.
5, copy the layer to the new layer (CTRL+J) and then hide the original layer. This is equivalent to backing up the original text layer and hiding the layer if nothing goes wrong. You can place the newly copied layer at the top of the layer. In general, I would say that copying a layer to a new layer means making a backup of the original layer and putting the copied layer on top. Now click the right-select blending option for the new duplicate layer to open the Layer Style dialog box add color overlay style parameters as shown below.
6, Execution filter > Blur > Gaussian blur, Radius value 13px. Copy the layer once, which will make the font lighter.
7, select the Brush tool (B) with a soft round head of almost 30px size of the brush to add a little messy lines, refer to the following figure. Then execute the Gaussian blur filter, radius 13px. Because this filter was performed in the previous step, the simple operation can be a dot ctr+f.
8, now in step 5, we hide the text layer to copy once, the implementation of Gaussian blur, radius of 5px. This step is not ctrl+f, the fuzzy radius is different.
9. Set the layer style for the new type layer, including the outer glow, inner glow and color overlay as shown in the following figure.
10, we have made a backup of the concrete material layer, now copy the layer to the new layer and move to the top of the layer, layer opacity set to 30% blending mode to multiply the bottom, so it will not affect the background layer, the background will not be darkened.
11, with the Brush tool (B) Choose a large soft brush, create a new layer, add some very bright colors, refer to the following figure.
12, the execution blur filter, the RADIUS value is 50. Then set the layer blending mode to overlay. I also added some text effects below. Here is the completion diagram.
