Today, the rapid development of communications technology, telephone, e-mail greetings Although more quickly but can not replace the expression between the family and love. If you can make a small card, although a few words, but the passing is the distant relatives and friends feel the yearning, this is not a few cold characters can be replaced. Let us use CorelDRAW design and print out a greeting card, in the cold winter for our friends and family to bring our hot love.
Since it is a winter holiday greeting card, I think the theme is Christmas, New Year, Spring Festival, Valentine's Day and so on. For example, the traditional content of Christmas tree and a number of ancillary decorations, such as: balls, lights and so on. Our next job is to draw the decorative picture of the greeting card from these aspects.
First, let's Open the photo gallery disc that comes with the CorelDRAW (usually a few or more, all of which provide users with a wide variety of images to meet the needs of your creations.) In addition, the images provided in this gallery have been processed and can be used directly in image editing to find out the pictures we need to make a Christmas greeting card. This is usually not a difficult task (the image Library has a corresponding search engine), from which we can select a pine tree, as shown in (Figure 1), which we usually see during Christmas. Because the production requires a variety of accessories, in order to facilitate future work, reduce the time to search browsing, we can create a new folder to store the production of the project required pictures or files. The advantage of this is that you can avoid the hassle of finding a specific file because of a mixture of different files. In fact, this does not bother, and will not occupy your valuable space, after the big can be deleted.
Next, we will select and slightly adjust the size of the pine to import CorelDRAW. Select the pine in the working face and choose Edit Bitmap in the bitmap drop-down menu. As a result, the diagram will appear in the resulting corel-paint. Create a new page file in Corelpaint and set its page width to 4x5 inches (this procedure can be done in the Page Setup dialog window). In the Window Drop-down menu, check the object management and brush settings docker to open the appropriate Properties window for later use. Copy and paste the pine into a new file, and then save the file in the name of the Christmas tree (Christmastree). For good follow-up, you can put it in the work bar first.
Here we deal with the decorations on the Christmas tree--the pom-poms. In fact, the following work is not a simple image editing, but directly to turn them into a tool. From our specific folder, find the multiple colored balls shown in (Figure 2) and reduce them to 1 inches square, and then import them individually into the CorelDRAW.
Continue using the bitmap editing tool as described in the same way above. But this time when the balls appear in the corelpaint, you need to click the "Image spraying" tool in the "Brush" column on the toolbar, as shown in (Figure 3). At this point, the "image spraying" tool will appear in your property bar. Click the image spraying setting icon at the end of the property bar and choose the settings for the Save options as image lists. For other options, such as: "Save as a directional graphic list," because it is not covered in this exercise, do not choose. Here, we should also set up a new folder to save spray graphics and Christmas balls, otherwise, in the specific spraying use will cause trouble. Speaking of which, I would like to talk about the purpose of this work, in fact, is to "spray tools" to produce "ammunition" to create the effect we want, so as to achieve the goal of decorating the Christmas tree. (Here we have completed a painting of the production of a document)
The "weapon" has been made, and we need to apply it in practice. Reopen the "Christmas Tree" file and click to activate it. The image, which is surrounded by a red box, will appear in the Object Management Dock window. Select the image spraying tool in the tool column and click the Yellow folder icon to the left of its property bar (Figure 4).
In the Open file list, find your new Christmas Ball spray Image folder, select the balls and click Open. At this point, your mouse arrow will turn into a small brush. Change the brush size to 50 in its property bar to accommodate actual use (this value can be changed according to your specific requirements). Note that in order to avoid irreparable errors before we get to the actual operation, we can choose the "Checkpoint" feature in the "Edit" pull-down menu (which saves the current state of the image), so that if you want to restore the state you only need a little bit of it to be done. Next, put the brush on the Christmas tree picture, click, then move a little, and then click, you will find that with the mouse movement, the screen will be dotted with some Christmas balls. In addition, there is a more simple method, you just hold down the left mouse button to move, it will give you a series of colored balls. You should note: A form of ball applications can not be too much, after all, we have four other options are not available. Of course, in the production process, inevitable error or unsatisfactory effect, we can through the above said "Checkpoint" function or undo tool to restore as ever. Next, let's use the method described above to make the other four balls of image spraying files and apply to the Christmas tree.
Once again, go to the CorelDRAW CD library, select the Star picture used on the background, such as (Figure 5), and shrink it to 1 inches square. Make the spraying file of the stars using the same method as described earlier, and then set the brush size to 30. Select the background and fill it with blue black with an RGB value of 0,0,64 (the background can be drawn with a rectangular tool and placed below the Christmas tree layer). Use the same technique as the dot-colored pom-poms, waving some stars at random on the background. Choose a Christmas tree, change the brush size to 75, and place a large star on the canopy.
With the pom-poms, the stars, we also need some lights to light the Christmas tree. Also, through the gallery I chose some light bulb pictures as shown in (Figure 6). After placing them in a new folder, import the CorelDRAW. Open the Art stroke tool (located in the toolbar's Curve Tools menu), use the 6th pen in its Pen menu, and draw a shape (Figure 7) as shown in 0.03. Fill it with gray and cancel the contour. Arrange the different lights in the line (Figure 7). Group the diagram, convert it to a bitmap, and then edit the bitmap. Use the same method to make the image of the picture spraying file. Select the Christmas tree, with a size of 200 brush on its decorative lights, the process should use the click, move and click the method.
To foil the whole picture atmosphere, we can select a sled through the gallery, such as (Figure 8), and tune it to 1 inches square. or import it into CorelDRAW, and click Bitmap Editing. In Corelpaint, copy and paste it into the picture as a new object. The size can be based on the screen requirements, after the double click to adjust.
Next comes the gift packs that are not available, and their pictures are found in the gallery (Figure 9). According to the way the sled is made, make one at a time and put them in the picture. Their position in the picture can be placed in front of the sled and the tree according to the arrangement of the layers.
