Many teachers think of PowerPoint when it comes to making slides. But today we have a new choice, Flash Mx 2004 has added slide templates and screen features to make the courseware as simple as PowerPoint and as creative as possible.

using Templates

Flash 2004 provides a "slide presentation" template that contains four different styles, making it easy and quick to make courseware with the full use of these templates.

1. Start Flash 2004, the dialog box appears, click Slide Presentation under Create from template, and select Retro Slide presentation to enter the editing window. The window is divided into two parts, the left is the thumbnail and the structure of the slide, the right side of the scene is the contents of the slide, which is called "screen." "Presentation" is the background of the slide, which is the picture and two buttons up and down, double-click on the right side of the scene can be modified, "title" is the title of the slide, double-click can be modified, you can also delete the original content to add again.

2. "Contentheader" is the main part of the slide, the following "MarchSales", "widgetsuccess" are the contents of the slide, can be modified as necessary to add. If you don't think the number of slides is enough, right-click on the place you want to add and choose Insert Screen. Double-click the name of the thumbnail to rename it. You can place animations, sounds, etc. on the screen, but be aware that animations created through the timeline on the screen cannot be played, you can only make them into a movie object and put them on the screen to play normally.

3. According to the need, after the modification add completes, presses "ctrl+enter" to watch the slide.

Although Flash 2004 provides us with a template, but the template is still too small, and does not necessarily fit our "taste", at this time we can give full play to their own ideas, make slide courseware.

1. After starting Flash 2004, when you select Flash slide presentation under Create new project, two screens are automatically created, presentation and slide 1, where slide 1 is nested under presentation, which is "nested screen."------ This will overwrite the contents of the slide 1 screen as it appears on the presentation screen. Draw the background and some decorations for the courseware in the presentation screen, and place two buttons to flip the slide up and down (Figure 1).

2. Insert the screen as needed (Figure 2) using the method described in "Using templates". Press SHIFT+F3 to open the Behaviors Panel, select the PAGE Up button for the initial interface, and then select Go to previous slide as shown in Figure 3. Then set the button's interaction to "pressed". Use the same method to add the "Go to Next slide" behavior to the "Down" page button. You can also add more buttons here to enable more interaction, and there are several ways to interact with the buttons.

Through the steps above, I made a simple slide courseware. Select file → save as template, pop-up dialog box, enter a name for the slide, and select the category as slide presentation. In addition, you can enter a description in the description, click (save), the next time it will become the system with the template.
