Making X-Men movie posters with Photoshop

This tutorial learn how to use Photoshop to make X-Men movie posters, mainly using masks, brushes, layer styles and other tools, like friends to learn together.

Look at the effect chart first.

First new document 1024x768 pixel, background black, open X-men official movie poster.

Use a pen or other method to pull out the main role, beauty hair may lose some details, but this is not the main, drag into the document, appropriate scaling.

A new layer at the bottom, the foreground color #10f6ff the soft corner brush, after which the opacity of the layer is changed to about 30%.

New layer name dot, with white solid brush dot some dots, size and opacity slightly change.

Create a new layer, make a positive round selection fill #81f4f.

Add a mask use a black brush to smear some of the top right corner, and then change the opacity of the layer to 45%.

Copy several to other locations and zoom in properly.
