Managing Windows 2008 R2 with Windows 7

Found a more fun dongdong, share. Use Windows 7 to manage some of the roles of Windows Server 2008 R2, windows2008, and even Windows 2008 server Core. Install this tool remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) for Windows 7. You can manage 2008 of roles through Win7, such as AD, DHCP, NDS, Hyper-V, etc.

One: Install RSAT, go to the link below to download, install

Two: Use--windows 7 need to be Advanced edition, and manage certain roles to join domain

1: In Windows 7, open the Control Panel--click Programs and Features

2: Click on the right side to select Turn Windows features on or off

3: Expand Remote Server Administration tools--role Administration Tools to select the role you want to manage, then click OK
