MapInfo layer Coordinate System Conversion

1. Open the map file under the Directory

Click *. tab under the Directory

Then you can use MapInfo Professional to open this layer file.

Then, choose menu> File> save another copy ......

The following selection dialog box is displayed:

Click "projection [p]…" in the lower right corner. Option. The following dialog box is displayed. You need to select the coordinate system.

For example, select a non-earth coordinate system, where meter is the unit.

Click OK. the dialog box asking you to set the non-earth coordinate Boundary appears.

This X, Y is the range of your map in the reference coordinate system (this article will not describe how to set the reference coordinate boundary)

Click "OK" and save the settings.
