Marking system for data center integrated cabling

Integrated Wiring systems generally use tags for management. There are three types of labels.

-Paste: sticker paper on the back, which can be directly attached to the surface of various devices.

-Insert Type: hard paper is usually used by the installer as needed.

-Special Type: labels used for special occasions, such as bar codes and label cards.

The cabling system uses three types of labels: cable, field, and insert tags.

1. Cable Marking

Cable labels are used to deliver the start and end points of cables before hardware installation. The cable label is made of Self-adhesive white material on the back. It can be directly attached to various surfaces. The size and shape of the cable can be determined based on your needs. Use these cable labels to identify the source and destination of the wire before it is installed and labeled at the transfer site.

2. Field Marking

Field markers (2) are used for the distribution of trunk lines/auxiliary fields and buildings between equipment and remote communication (satellite) connections. The field tag is also made of adhesive material on the back. It can be pasted on the flat surface of equipment room, wiring room, second-level switch room, trunk line/auxiliary field and building distribution line field.

         

3. Insert tags

The insertion mark (3) is used for the pipe burial field between the device and the second-level wiring. It is used to mark the start point of the end-to-end cable by color. The insert tag is a hard paper and can be inserted into a 27cm × 20. 32cm transparent plastic clip located between two horizontal racks on the wiring block. Each tag uses a Color Mark to indicate the source and origin of the cable. These cables are connected to the management site between the device and the wiring room.

The cabling marking design scheme is based on the telecommunications infrastructure management standard for commercial buildings (TIA/EIA606. Both pasted and inserted tags must comply with UL969 (H national insurance provider laboratory, an independent and non-profit product security lab and certification organization) clear, wear, adhesion, and exposure requirements stipulated in. Some information can be preprinted on the mark position, and some information is filled by the installer. If the designer wishes to have a blank tag, they can also order a blank tag.

Marking is an important part of the Integrated Wiring System. We recommend that you use different marking methods based on different application scenarios and connection methods. Insert is the most common method.
