convert markdown files to PDF
Recently in the use of Markdown write technical essay, feel very good, can sometimes need it markdown file converted to PDF, on-line check, this can be achieved with pandoc, can feel too troublesome, but also to install Pdflatex:
Since I previously used chrome to export the Web page as a PDF file, I wanted to make the markdown file into HTML, and then chrome to convert it to PDF, which is recorded here, and it's easy for me to check later.
First, install the Markdownpad
Website: http://markdownpad.com
This is the WYSIWYG editor, and I'm mainly used to convert the markdown file to an HTML file.
Of course there are other tools, such as Oschina's online editor: Http://www.ostools.net/markdown
Second, export HTML file
Markdownpad can export HTML directly, such as the export operation of this article:
I won't say much here, just save the disk.
Third, export PDF file
1. Open the HTML file with chrome and select the "print" option
In fact, when you successfully export to an HTML file, the Chrome browser will open automatically (I feel this depends on the default browser settings), select the "Print" option:
2. Output PDF file
This shows only simple output, which is done in the default format.
In the print page, change "target" to "Save as PDF" and click "Save":
Select the path in the Pop-up dialog box to save.
All right, that's it, I hope it helps you.
