These are the notes I have prepared in my painting class.

First, we need to know that each painting is incomplete. At the beginning, I had to admit that most paintings were unsuccessful. Ignore them and enjoy the pleasure of painting.

Gouache paint
Transparent color:
Rose Red, red, blue, green, yellow, pale yellow, lemon yellow
High purity, color to each other to produce translucent and non-transparent colors, poor hiding power, wide area flat easily uniform, multi-parameter water painting, produce a thin and transparent feeling

Translucent color:
Zhu Hong, middle green, pink green, light green, yellow green, green, grass green, sky blue, lake blue, cobalt blue, Violet
Brightness transition color in the painting

Opaque color:
Contains three or more colors except black and white.
Tuhuang, tuhong, Xiaoshi, cooked Brown, olive green, Qinglian

White (barium sulfate) has been added)
Lake blue, cobalt blue, light green, Medium green, pink green, grass green, Violet
Brightness or background in the painting, instead of white

Best Base: watercolor paper

Gouache pigments are good and bad.
Obviously different pigments:
White, Violet, rose red, brown, Earth red, lake blue, etc.

Poor pigments are easy to dirty and have obvious wet and dry changes.
Dimmed after drying, easy to powder, gray

Pigments are divided:
Powder, canned, and tin Tubes
Powder pack, also known as sanhua powder, is suitable for stage and large advertisement
Drawing of a large scale gouache image, suitable for porcelain plates

Canned for large painting
Tin or aluminum tubes are delicate and suitable for general painting and carrying
Generally, it is recommended to buy a can of yellow and white. It is not cost-effective to use a large aluminum tube.

Pink painting with color:
Transparent color without powder or less powder, suitable for watercolor
Purple series colors are not suitable for background colors.

Highlight the dark paint:
Yellow, orange, light yellow, lemon yellow, pink green, lake blue, cobalt blue, Violet
For example
Cool brown + lake blue
Cooked brown + orange red warm

White + dark after dry, partial depth
White + light-colored light dried and then light

To reduce wet and dry changes, try to use good paint.
In addition, the student-level paint of watercolor painting does not seem to be prepared to save money for everyone,

Oil painting-the most beautiful invention
Oil painting paint can be used if you don't want to use it. There is a problem with the chemical composition of oil painting paint.

Not mixed:
Sulfide and Lead Iron
Qunqing and iron oxide

Azo and zinc Titanium
Red + titanium
Zhu Hong + titanium
Will fade

Color Lake and light color
Lake blue + zinc Titanium
Rose Red + zinc Titanium
Purple + zinc Titanium
Will fade

Student paint and master paint
Sellers not only offer the best paint but also consider the money in their pockets for students.
Pigments are classified into student pigments and master pigments.
Using Male paint as an example:
Horse head-entry level (oil painting without horse head Series)
Mary -- Student paint
Artist Series-master paint

The difference between student paint and master paint:
Student paint-the most expensive color paint, such
Cadmium and cobalt series are replaced by cheap colors, with low color composition and low filling material

Pigment saving:
Basic paint
Opaque coating with master paint

Stable and low-cost ordinary pigments for iron, red, and iron.
Bright colors are not easy to fade with master paint
White must be a master paint, generally recognized as the most reliable use of titanium white

Oil painting paint is very expensive, but it does not need to be stingy.

Color Mixing can be used with a color adjustment knife, not with a mink hair pen

The thinner must be gradually added in a small amount. When added, the viscosity will deteriorate and the coating will rupture.

Paint in use, if the painting feels very sticky, you need to add a lot of thinner, it is best not to use again, re-purchase.

Basic Color
Titanium White, qunqing, cobalt blue, shengyu, mature, Rose Red, dark green, Cadmium Red, lemon yellow, Windsor purple

Natural oil paint:
Dark red, golden, cadmium (such as cadmium red), cobalt blue, dark green

Toxic pigments:
Cadmium, cobalt, and other heavy metals are toxic.

Direct painting: confidence + freedom
Get to know what you want to express
Try to use less of different colors, avoid blending complex colors, impromptu painting

Indirect method:
After the lower layer is completely dry, the translucent thinner must be used.
Not suitable for flax oil
Must be painted in transparent colors

How to protect works:
Oil painting transportation must cover the four corners of the frame
Watercolor can be fixed with toner
Paint on Oil Painting: You must wait until the oil painting is completely dry to paint.
It may take six months or one year.

If the oil painting cleaning tool:
You cannot only use the fuel-saving oil, because there will be residues and soap, until no paint can be seen in the water.
The discarded toilet paper and newspaper must be cleaned up in time because of the possibility of spontaneous combustion.
