In a math quiz paper edited with Word, a large number of formulas exist. If you need to resize the font size after the document is edited, what about the formulas in the document?
Typically, these formulas in a Word document are done with MathType editing and treated in Word as a drawing object. We can not select the graphic one by one and drag the mouse to manually complete the adjustment of the formula size. The following method allows us to complete the adjustment of the size of the formula in bulk, so as to adjust the size of the formula.
Run MathType first, and click the "Define" command on the "Size" menu, as shown in Figure 1.
Open the Define Sizes dialog box, where we can resize the font size in the input box after full, as shown in Figure 2. Other elements in the formula are automatically adjusted accordingly, so you can usually make no other changes. Click the "OK" button to close the dialog box.
Click the "Equation preferences→save to File" command on the "Preferences" menu, as shown in Figure 3, to save our set options as a file with a suffix named "EQP".
Now go back to the word environment and tap the Format equations command on the "MathType" menu, as shown in Figure 4.
Then select the middle "MathType preference file" option in the Open Format Equations dialog box and click the "Browse" button to locate the Eqp file that we saved and double-click it. Then select the Whole document single option in the Range item below, as shown in Figure 5. Click on the "OK" button for a moment, you can see all the formulas are adjusted to the specified font size.
Figure 6 and Figure 7 are respectively adjusted before and after the effect. Isn't it convenient?
