 Today we found that there is a Spline Toolbox in MATLAB. Learning to use this tool is helpful for understanding some concepts in computer ry.
The help document provides a brief introduction to Splines. Here is a sample program for some B-Splines, as shown in:

Enter the file name in MATLAB to run the program: bsplidem press ENTER;
The following figure shows the basic concepts of B-spline:
