Error encountered:
-dmaven.multimoduleprojectdirectory system propery is not set. Check $M 2_home


Workaround:
Set the M2_home in the environment variable.
After setting the error, MAVEN is not compatible with your IDE, it is recommended to change to a lower version of Maven, or according to different IDE settings.

1 Eclipse
Window->preference->java->installed Jres->edit
Set in default VM arguments
-dmaven.multimoduleprojectdirectory= $M 2_home


2 INTELLJ Idea
File->setting->build,exe...->build tools->maven->runner-> setting up VMS options:-d maven.multimoduleprojectdirectory= $M 2_home
