Program Introduction
1. MentoHUST is a program that supports ruijie authentication under Windows, Linux, and Mac OS (with support for Xaar authentication)
2. Windows MentoHUST supports all mainstream Windows versions.
3. Linux MentoHUST is compatible with Windows, so if you can use MentoHUST authentication in Windows successfully, www.linuxidc.com does not have to worry about failure to use campus network in Linux.
4. MentoHUST for Mac OS was later compiled for MentoHUST for Linux on Mac OS.
Main functions
1. Support for ruijie V2 and V3 client verification algorithms, fully compatible with ruijie
2. Support for multiple NICs
3. It is better to simulate data of different versions of ruijie and supports all current versions of ruijie.
4. Support static IP and DHCP (Dynamic IP) Authentication
5. Support static IP User-Defined IP (that is, the bound IP address may be different from the Internet IP address)
6. Server Message and billing information prompt
7. the authentication is successful and stable online, and can be automatically reconnected even if it is offline. You can ping an IP address for smart reconnection.
8. Support for related tools. You can customize data files for compatibility as much as possible. You can be compatible with all versions without modifying the code.
Usage
If you are sure you can use xrgsu for authentication, open the terminal and enter sudo mentohust to run.
If you are not sure, use the cd command in the terminal to switch to the directory where ruijie is located, and then enter the following command:
Sudo mkdir/etc/mentohust
Sudo cp./8021x.exe/etc/mentohust
Sudo cp./W32N55. dll/etc/mentohust
Then open the terminal and enter sudo mentohust to run. If the authentication fails, switch to the directory where ruijie is located and enter the following command:
Sudo cp./SuConfig. dat/etc/mentohust
Then open the terminal and enter sudo mentohust to run.
Note: The specific version requires SuConfig. dat, which is not required before ruijie 3.63 and later.
If the authentication fails after performing the preceding steps, download the MentoHUSTTool, capture the package in Windows, and save it as data. mpf,
Return to Linux, use the cd command in the terminal to switch to the directory where data. mpf is located, and enter the following command:
Sudo cp./data. mpf/etc/mentohust
Open the terminal and enter sudo mentohust-f/etc/mentohust/data. mpf-w to run the command. In the future, you only need to enter sudo mentohust.
How to exit: When mentohust is not run in later mode, press Ctrl + C or close the terminal to exit. When running in the background, use sudo mentohust-k to exit authentication.
Start running
We recommend that you use sudo mentohust-b3-y5-w to set MentoHUST to daemon and save it to/tmp/mentohust. log to enable Message notification.
Ubuntu and Fedora users: Choose system> preference> Start application, click Add, enter MentoHUST, run sudo mentohust, and click Add.
For users who do not need to modify the/etc/sudoers file so that sudo does not need a password, the above method cannot enable mentohust to automatically run at startup. You can modify/etc/rc. local or/etc/TPD/Init/Default, for example:
Sudo gedit/etc/TPD/Init/Default
Add the following content before exit 0 (the last line:
If [-x/usr/bin/mentohust]; then
/Usr/bin/mentohust
Fi
You can.
